To compete with AIs like ChatGPT, Google Bard, etc. India is all set to launch its first AI module named Krutrim AI. According to reports, Krutrim AI is going to be released today. And the news has been confirmed by Bhavish Agrawal, the CEO of OLA.

Basically, the AI Module has been developed by the OLA group and going to be released today at 2:30 pm. Bhavish Agrawal has invited everyone to join the live stream during that time; Bhavish Shared a video regarding the invite and all the required details about the launch.
According to Bhavish, Krutrim AI is going to be the first Full Stack AI Module developed in India and will work in regional language and have a better understanding of the problems or queries of Indian People as it is trained to solve Indian Problems as well as other queries.
In the past, he said that the AI that they are developing is going to be very powerful and have a better understanding of Indian culture and civilizations. While explaining he also stated that India needs its own language model as the other modules are trained according to the different cultures and non-Indian data which certainly fails to fulfill the requirements of the Indian People.
He said that they are mainly focused on training their AI Module on different “Bhartiya Language” which makes it more efficient to solve the problems of Indian People. Talking about the meaning of the name Krutrim AI Module, the first word, Krutrim is the Hindi meaning of Artificial.

To invite everyone to the launch Bhavish has shared a post on X which is in different language which gives the hint that the Krutrim AI Module is efficient at working in different languages. The video was made in Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, and Marathi. So, it is quite clear that the Krutrim AI Module will be capable of solving the queries in these languages.
In the invite, he said that “they will be launching India’s own AI Krutrim“. He further said that “the Krutrim AI Module is all set to transform the industry and lives and put the power of AI in the hands of 1.4 billion citizens of the nation“. In his video, it can be seen clearly that he is focusing on the Make in India concept started by our Honorable Prime Minister.
